Harbor Watch

Watches the feeds you list and messages you only when a change affects your stack.

4.6(63)

What it does

Follows a few feeds and pages and pings only when the change touches something you actually call. The rest is held, not forwarded.

Harbor Watch is an anti-notification. You list the APIs and feeds you depend on. It reads the changelog noise and surfaces the one line that would break your Tuesday. It will not open a pull request โ€” write access is not in the manifest, on purpose.

  • Most items are held. A ping is the exception.
  • Quiet hours are part of the file, not a setting you discover later.
  • It suggests a patch. It does not push one.

Ops and money tools with an audit log. If a bot touches a figure, it has to show the line it came from โ€” and it never logs into a bank.

Permission manifest

A bot file has to say what it can touch. Treat this the way you would a materials label.

  • Fetch feeds you list

    Only those URLs.

    Medium
  • Post one alert

Slack or Telegram, and only on a match.

    Low

Will not

  • Open pull requests
  • Watch feeds you did not list
  • Ping during quiet hours
  • Follow links out to unrelated domains

Security review

Outbound network is limited to the feed URLs in the config file. No repository write scope present.

  • Static pass over the package. No hidden send or spend calls.
  • The permission list matches what the recorded run actually does.
  • Sandbox execution. Network stays inside the declared fetches.
  • Hash signed Sep 19, 2026. It is the hash in the buy box.

Before you install

  • A short list of feeds or changelog URLs.
  • A Slack or Telegram destination for the rare ping.

After a license

  1. Put feed URLs in watch.json. Anything not listed is unreachable.
  2. Set the destination channel and quiet hours.
  3. Run it on a schedule. It does not need a model key until something matches.

I forgot it was on, which is the review. The one ping it sent saved a deploy.

Configuring feeds is fiddly for a $18 file. Once it was quiet, I stopped resenting the price.
